Log Data
Whenever you use our service, in the case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called "Log Data." This may include your device IP address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app, the time and date of your use, and other statistics. This data is used solely for diagnostic and service improvement purposes.
Profile Deletion
If you wish to delete your profile from the Hoffman Anesthesia app:
- Open the Hoffman Anesthesia app
- Navigate to the Account Page found in the Menu bar
- Tap the "Delete Account" option

Collection and Use of Primary Account Information
- Collection: Our app collects the email address associated with your registered account. This occurs only once during initial setup and is used strictly to enhance your experience, verify credentials, and improve functionality.
- Anonymisation: Your email address is anonymised before storage through a non-reversible hashing process. The original email address cannot be derived from the stored hash.
- Use: The encoded email is used solely to associate it with your account and subscription hub. We do not use your email for unsolicited communication or share/sell it to third parties for marketing purposes.
Professional Role Information
During account registration, the app may collect your professional role (e.g., CRNA, Anesthesiologist, SRNA, Anesthesiologist Assistant). This information is used solely to personalize your experience within the app and is not shared with or sold to any third parties.
Service Providers
We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our service, provide services on our behalf, perform service-related maintenance, and assist us in analyzing how our service is used. These third parties are obligated not to disclose or use your information for any other purpose.
Security
We value your trust in providing us with your Personal Information and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. The app uses Auth0 for enterprise-grade identity management, encrypted data storage, and secure authentication including MFA and biometric sign-in (Face ID). Please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Children's Privacy
The Hoffman Anesthesia app is intended exclusively for licensed anesthesia professionals, anesthesia students, and related healthcare providers. This service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy within the app. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
